I think most of you have heard of this, but I'm gonna explain for those who does'nt know about it.

五福臨門 (Which are the five happiness in life?)

1. 長壽 (longevity)
2. 富貴 (being rich)
3. 康寧 (healthy & to be able to find peace)
4. 好德 (good character)
5. 善終 (dying peacefully)

好德 : This is the most important thing!! The other four items are the results of 好德.

4. 好德 : good deeds

「陰德」 &「陽德」- the power of 陰德 is way bigger than the power of 陽德

陰德: It refers to hidden deeds, without telling anyone. People should be humble in that way?

陽德: You let people know you are doing good stuffs: fe: celebrities do chartity work and they let all people know about it.

Sometimes people, or in your case (celebrities) let the media know that they have donated to charities is because they want to spread the news around to other people who are also as wealthy as themselves to also help donate to charities.

The other reason- to just be a media whore.
